The trade name KITO has been associated with flame arresters manufactured in Braunschweig, Germany for over 80 years. KITO Armaturen GmbH were formed out of the original Wilke-Werke AG many years back, which developed the KITO name from an abbreviation for the old “Kiestopf” or common gravel pot.

Today, we number over 30 employees in our own factory, producing flame arresters, valves and other associated special fittings. Experienced agents both in Europe and world-wide, are able to provide a local service.
